I shoot, I eat, I write.

Born and raised in Canada (Calgary) as a child, whisked off to Hong Kong at the tender age of nine. Graduated and left for London to study at Goldsmiths College, despite never having stepped foot in Europe before. Learned how to cook – obsessively taking photographs of meals became a way to show the family how far I’d come. Started a blog. Got a job in food writing. The rest is history.

Proudly worked for Time Out London‘s food and drink department for four years before moving back to Hong Kong at the beginning of 2012. Soon after, I joined Hong Kong Tatler as their deputy online editor, eventually becoming the editor-in-chief of digital. After spearheading much of the dining initiatives for the company (including their annual Best Restaurants guide), I took on the role of Editorial Director of Food & Wine in 2016.
